Private Nanny Support
Have you found your Nanny privately and would like Agency support?
We can make your life easier and support you every step of the way by offering:
PAYE, ACC, Holiday Pay, Sick Pay, Public Holidays etc
At Dream, we prioritize safety and quality in every placement by conducting thorough formal interviews and reference checks. Additionally, we check multiple references. Speaking directly with past employers and families to verify the candidate’s skills, reliability, and dedication.
We arrange for your Nanny to attend a certified First Aid Course, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle emergencies and provide safe, reliable care. This training covers essential skills such as CPR, managing minor injuries, and responding effectively in urgent situations.
All placements are supported by clear and comprehensive Employment Agreements. These agreements outline essential details such as job responsibilities, hours of work, pay, leave entitlements, and notice periods, providing a solid foundation for the employment relationship.
We strive to make quality childcare more accessible and affordable for families. Many of our families may qualify for subsidies from the Ministry of Education and WINZ (Work and Income New Zealand), which can help offset the cost of hiring a Nanny. Eligible families may also benefit from Family Boost and ECE 20 Hours funding.
The Dream Education Programme is our flagship offering for whānau in Auckland with at least one preschool child under 6 years old (not yet enrolled in school).
Guided by Te Whāriki, New Zealand's official early childhood education curriculum, and regulated by the Ministry of Education, Dream operates as a home-based ECE service. Each whānau is assigned a dedicated Visiting Teacher who provides monthly in-home visits to support nannies in fostering children's growth and development.
This programme is designed to immerse children in real-life experiences, encourage independent exploration, and promote meaningful, enthusiastic learning. Additionally, it includes three weekly events. In addition, there is a themed monthly excursion that complements the learning focus for the month.
For example, in October, we focused on emergency awareness, with a trip to the fire station to bring this topic to life.

Supporting the ongoing growth and development of our Nannies is important at Dream. We offer a range of professional development opportunities designed to enhance their skills, knowledge, and confidence in providing high-quality childcare
We prioritise the well-being of our Nannies by helping them establish strong social connections. Through regular events, meetups, and networking opportunities, we actively ensure nannies connect with others in the caregiving community. As a result, these interactions provide valuable support, reduce isolation, and offer a platform for sharing experiences and insights.
