What does Childcare cost
At Dream Childcare we offer Au Pairs, Nannies and Home Based Educators. Each childcare option has different benefits to suit different families needs.
Au Pairs live with you in your home and their weekly rate includes room and board.
A Nanny is an employee and is paid an agreed hourly rate. Dream Nannies range from $28 per hour to $35+ per hour. The average wage for an Auckland Nanny is currently between $28 and $32+ per hour depending on qualification and experience.
Home-Based Educators charge approximately $8 to $10 per child per hour and look after your child in the Educators home. Dream educators can have a max of 4 children at a time.
Subsidies
Dream Childcare can help you to access WINZ Childcare Subsidies as well as ECE subsidies. Families are eligible for WINZ Childcare subsidies if your gross annual household income is less than $140,000 per annum. ECE subsidies are paid at approximately $80 per week per 3 or 4 year old child.
