Job Description: Thu-Sat (11.5 hours)Start Date: ASAP Hours: Thu: 7-8.15am Fri: 7-9.15am Sat: 1-8.30/9pm (could be alternative Saturdays if preferred) *Option of more hours during the school holiday mornings Child: B6 Description: This fantastic and rewarding position is available with a mid January start. You will be helping care for a sweet 6-year-old boy who has high energy, is a little shy initially but makes friends easily in social situations. The Family would love for Master 6 to have a good routine and structure. Master 6 loves running, climbing, building Lego, playing with toy cars, trucks and trains. He also loves playing games on Dad's iPad (when he's allowed!) It's important to note that the Parent's are going through a separation, Mum lives in the main-home and Dad lives in a tiny home on the property and they have shared care. The Nanny would primarily be helping Dad as he is unable to work due to a health condition. Morning duties include: Getting him ready for school, helping him get changed, breakfast, pack his lunchbox (prepared the previous night usually), drink bottle, toileting, brushing teeth, administer medications, and cleaning up afterwards, usually only Friday morning requires a drop off to school. Duties on Saturday and during the school holidays: Prepare and organize what to do for the day by researching events, places to go. Completing his night-time routine. Long term commitment needed, great communication skills essential, and a firm and friendly approach will be much appreciated by the Family!
