Children:

Description:
Family Structure
The family currently have a full-time 24/7 Nanny, and this new position is intended to provide support and work alongside her as part of the care team.
Responsibilities
We are looking for someone experienced, warm, and proactive, who can assist with:
• Daily baby care – feeding, playing, interacting, settling
• Supporting routines alongside lead Nanny
• Baby laundry and maintaining the nursery to a high standard
• Light household tasks related to the baby
• General support to a very busy household
The family is warm, supportive and values clear communication. They run a busy household and appreciate someone who can slot into their routines while staying flexible when needed. They’re respectful, fair and long-term focused, creating a positive environment for both the children and the Nanny.
They lead an active lifestyle with regular school, activities and some travel, and they’re looking for someone who can be a trusted, consistent part of the family.
The ideal nanny for this family is someone who brings experience, maturity and genuine care. They’re confident managing busy routines, comfortable taking initiative and able to keep a household running smoothly without needing direction.
They know how to balance structure with warmth, and they understand what B4 and B6 need developmentally at each stage. They’re naturally engaged with children, not just supervising but helping them learn, grow and stay curious.
Reliability is key. This person is comfortable with early starts, split shifts and supporting the family across weekdays and alternate weekends. They’re organised enough to juggle morning and evening routines, activities, and school commitments while keeping the day flowing.
They’re also confident in the practical side of household management: cooking for the kids, packing lunches, grocery shopping, keeping things tidy, doing laundry and running errands. They have high standards of cleanliness and treat the home with care.
A strong “can do” attitude is essential. This nanny doesn’t say “that’s not my job.” They’re happy to help with life admin, scheduling, and whatever the household needs day to day. They communicate clearly with the father and keep him updated on the children, routines and anything that needs attention.
Looking ahead, there is also an opportunity to travel with them to France from April onward, potentially for the remainder of the year.
If you are interested in this position and feel you'd be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you! Please either email Isabel your CV (Isabel@dream.co.nz), or apply directly online.
Other:
- Clean and full driver's license
- Ideally, has a passport ready
- 5+ years of childcare experience
Job 7006
Part Time Nanny
Region: Auckland
Suburb: Grey Lynn
Role: Nanny
Type of Work: Part Time Nanny
Rate: $33+
Job Description:
Thu,Fri (18hrs)
+ Wednesday in April (27hrs)
Start Date:
05-02-2026
Hours:
7:45/8am - 5/5:30pm
Children:
B1.5, G2.5 (at start date)
Description:
This family is seeking part-time care for their B1.5, starting with 2 days per week and later moving to 3 days. Their older daughter, G2.5, will be at daycare during the day, so the primary focus of care will be for B1.5, with some daycare pickups required when needed.
They are far more focused on finding the right fit for their family than on experience alone—therefore, all applicants are welcome. Their priority is a caregiver who genuinely connects with their children and aligns with their parenting approach.
Their parenting style follows a gentle, responsive, and child-led approach. They have a loose routine but are not rigid—B1.5 naturally creates his own schedule, and they prefer to follow his cues rather than stick to fixed rules like “must have a nap at 11.” They value independence, confidence-building, and saying “yes” as often as possible, avoiding “no” unless truly necessary.
Creative play is encouraged, and they are intentional about understanding what their child is experiencing. When upset, B1.5 is usually given space first and then offered a cuddle. Their goal is for their children to be happy, and they are completely comfortable with the house getting messy in the process. In fact, they would much rather B1.5 be dirty from a day full of fun than have a spotless house and a bored toddler.
While the main focus of the role is childcare, some light housekeeping would be appreciated if possible—but it is absolutely not a priority.
B1.5 loves music, enjoys being in the garden with water, and is especially drawn to plants and flowers. He also loves his morning walk and is used to having one every day, so the family would love to see this routine continue.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide nurturing, attentive care for B1.5, including feeding, play, and nap routines
- Organise and complete kindy pick-ups for G2.5
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, both at home and out in the community
- Foster a safe, positive, and fun environment
- Assist with light meal preparation
- Maintain a tidy and organised play and eating area throughout the day
- Communicate openly with parents about the children’s routines, milestones, and well-being
If you are interested in this position and feel you'd be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you! Please either email Isabel your CV (Isabel@dream.co.nz), or apply directly online.

This busy professional family is seeking a positive, thoughtful Nanny to care for their active and happy 1-year-old girl.
They are a caring and flexible family looking for someone kind, gentle, and trustworthy who can provide calm, nurturing care while supporting their daughter’s growth and development. As both parents work from home much of the time, the ideal candidate will be comfortable with this dynamic, as well as with the family’s friendly indoor cat.
The successful Nanny will have experience with children aged 12 months+, and will confidently take initiative—planning age-appropriate activities, reading books, and engaging in meaningful, playful interactions throughout the day.
Above all, the family values someone safe, warm, and reliable—someone who can become a supportive presence in their home and a loving caregiver to their daughter.

Both parents enjoy being involved and appreciate a Nanny who is comfortable working collaboratively with them.
Key responsibilities include:

G2
Description:
G2 is super active and full of energy! She’s the cutest little bundle of joy with a big, cheeky personality. She brings happiness to everyone she meets with her curiosity, determination, and a serious case of FOMO—if something’s happening, she wants to be part of it! She’s very used to having someone by her side at all times!
She loves being out and about and makes new friends wherever she goes but she isn’t a fan of car rides so outings are mostly more local and they sometimes take the bus (hopefully the car gets easier with time).
G2 is at a stage where she’s learning so much every day, making up her own little games, and being incredibly social.
She loves music, dancing, reading books, watching birds, and playing in the water. Lately, she’s been enjoying coming up with her own games, which is so much fun to watch!
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan educational activities
- Prepare and supervise meals
- Keep areas child/ren use clean and tidy
- Children's laundry including bedding
Other:
