Rate: $33+
Job Description:
Tue,Wed,Thu (27hrs)
Flexible on days, ideally consecutive 3 days
Start Date:
1st April 2026
Hours:

Children:

Description:
We are representing a warm, relaxed Kiwi family who are seeking an active, personable, and engaged Nanny to care for their baby girl and support their 7-year-old daughter. This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys becoming part of an easy-going household and naturally “slotting in” to family life while bringing positive energy and initiative to the role.
The primary focus will be caring for G1 during the day, providing attentive, nurturing care and ensuring she is engaged in age-appropriate activities that support her development. The family are looking for someone who enjoys being out and about — attending local activities, spending time outdoors, and keeping little ones stimulated and entertained rather than staying home and sedentary.
Their 7-year-old daughter attends school full-time, just a five-minute walk from the home, and will require school drop-offs and pick-ups, as well as after-school care. The ideal Nanny will be confident juggling the differing needs of both age groups, building strong, positive relationships with each child, and creating a fun, connected dynamic within the home.
This family describes themselves as relaxed and easy-going, and they are looking for someone who mirrors that approach — calm, adaptable, and able to step in seamlessly. A happy, warm personality is key, along with someone who is proactive, hands-on, and genuinely enjoys being actively involved in children’s lives. They value someone who will engage with the children, organise activities, encourage creativity and play, and bring a bright, positive presence into their home each day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing attentive, nurturing care for G1 throughout the day
- Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities to support development
- Keeping the children active, stimulated, and entertained
- Taking the children out for walks, outings, and local activities
- School drop-offs and pick-ups for G7 (5-minute walk)
- Providing after-school care, including supervision and engagement
- Confidently juggling the needs of both children
- Encouraging positive behaviour and building strong, trusting relationships
- Maintaining a safe, calm, and organised environment
- Assisting with child-related tasks such as tidying play areas and managing children’s belongings
If you are interested in this position and feel you'd be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you! Please either email Isabel your CV (Isabel@dream.co.nz), or apply directly online.

Suburb: Ellerslie
Role: Nanny
Type of Work: Full Time Nanny
Rate: $30-$35
Job Description:
Mon-Fri (45hrs)
Start Date:
ASAP
Hours:
Mon, Thu, Thu: 7am-5pm
Wed, Fri: 7.30am - 3pm
Children:
B1, B3
Description:
This family are looking for a caring, energetic, and experienced Nanny to join their household. They have two gorgeous boys who love being out and about, exploring, and learning through play. This role would be a wonderful fit for a Nanny who enjoys adventures, doesn’t mind getting outside in all kinds of weather, and values gentle, responsive care.
The boys are active and love getting outside. Favourite outings include the zoo, MOTAT, the beach, Ambury Farm, local playgrounds, trampoline parks, and café trips. There are numerous parks within a few minutes walk from the family’s home.
Meet the Boys
Their smiley baby boy: A happy little soul who adores people and loves going on adventures. He enjoys reading, music, and swimming, and will likely start child ballet like his big brother did around 18 months.
Their energetic 3-year-old: A bright, social little boy who attends kindergarten five days a week. He loves bike riding, scooter riding, kicking balls, reading, exploring outdoors, and going on adventures. He’s very outgoing, a great communicator, and quick to notice the world around him.
About the Family
This family believes in child-led, responsive parenting and follows philosophies such as Circle of Security and Attachment Theory. Their approach is to meet their boys’ needs with love and connection — behaviour is always understood through curiosity and communication. The children are never left to cry and safety is always put first.
Dad works from home about three days a week in a separate office, and the boys are used to him being around. The household has a “happy organised chaos” feel — clean and welcoming, with lots of play, fun, and laughter.
Your Role as Their Nanny
• Create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for the boys
• Kindergarten drop-off/pick-up for the 3-year-old - just a few minutes walk away
• Plan fun activities and outings, keeping each day active and engaging
• Prepare meals/snacks and tidy up after meals
• Support both boys’ development through play, reading, and exploration
• Keep children’s areas tidy and organised (toys everywhere is fine until tidy up at the end of the day but important to always clean up after meals). Family has a weekly cleaner.
What The Family are Looking For
• A qualified ECE Nanny with strong childcare experience
• A driver with a full, clean licence (family vehicle can be provided)
• Someone confident outdoors, happy to get out and about even on rainy days
• A warm, kind, and reliable Nanny who will feel like part of the family
• Open communication and teamwork

The position is ideal for a Nanny who is confident with toddler development and enjoys planning stimulating, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, movement, and exploration.
Mum works from home two days per week and from the office two days per week, so the Nanny should be comfortable working both alongside a parent and independently. The family are looking for someone who is active, organised, and experienced with young children, and who enjoys getting out and about. The ideal Nanny will plan outings such as playgroups, local activities, and outdoor adventures, as well as creative arts and crafts at home to support the child’s development and keep his days engaging and varied.
Their son is currently 17 months old and still has two naps per day. During nap times, the Nanny will be responsible for child-related tasks such as folding his laundry and keeping his play areas and belongings clean, organised, and tidy. The family would also appreciate a Nanny who is happy to assist with simple meal preparation for the whole family.
They are looking for someone who is easy to get along with, attentive to detail, and naturally proactive in planning the child’s weekly routine and activities. A Nanny who brings initiative, warmth, and strong experience caring for toddlers will be a wonderful fit for this household.
The family are hoping to have a Nanny in place until their son turns two years old (he is currently 17 months), at which point they will reassess whether he transitions into daycare or continues with a nanny, depending on his development and needs.
Occasional Saturday babysitting would also be appreciated if the nanny is available, although this is not a requirement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing attentive, nurturing care for B1.5 and supporting his developmental needs
- Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities including playgroups, outings, and arts and crafts
- Creating a fun, active daily routine that encourages learning, movement, and exploration
- Managing B1.5’s daily schedule, including supporting his two nap routine

- Working collaboratively with mum when she is working from home and independently when she is in the office
- Maintaining clear and open communication with the parents regarding the child’s day and development

Description:
We are seeking an experienced, nurturing, and confident full-time Nanny to join this family from the birth of their first child, a baby boy. This is a long-term opportunity ideally suited to a career Nanny who has strong newborn experience and is confident supporting first-time Mum as she establishes routines, feeding patterns, sleep schedules, and early developmental foundations.

As the family’s needs evolve in the coming years, the role has the potential to develop into a broader household management position. The family resides in a large home with regular tradespeople, gardeners, and cleaners, so a highly organised, proactive Nanny who feels comfortable overseeing household flow and liaising with contractors over time would be highly valued.
Additionally, the family travel frequently for short bursts and would ideally love a Nanny who is flexible and able to accompany them both domestically and internationally.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a warm, calm, emotionally intelligent professional who is seeking longevity, stability, and the chance to become an integral part of a growing family from the very beginning

- Liaising with tradespeople and household staff as needed
- Over time, potentially assisting with broader household coordination and management

Job 7136
Part Time Nanny
Region: Auckland
Suburb: Grey Lynn
Role: Nanny
Type of Work: Part Time Nanny
Rate: $33+
Job Description:
Thu,Fri (18hrs)
+ Wednesday in April (27hrs)
Start Date:
ASAP
Hours:
7:45/8am - 5/5:30pm
Children:
B1.5, G2.5 (at start date)
Description:
This family is seeking part-time care for their B1.5, starting with 2 days per week and later moving to 3 days. Their older daughter, G2.5, will be at daycare during the day, so the primary focus of care will be for B1.5, with some daycare pickups required when needed.
They are far more focused on finding the right fit for their family than on experience alone—therefore, all applicants are welcome. Their priority is a caregiver who genuinely connects with their children and aligns with their parenting approach.
Their parenting style follows a gentle, responsive, and child-led approach. They have a loose routine but are not rigid—B1.5 naturally creates his own schedule, and they prefer to follow his cues rather than stick to fixed rules like “must have a nap at 11.” They value independence, confidence-building, and saying “yes” as often as possible, avoiding “no” unless truly necessary.
Creative play is encouraged, and they are intentional about understanding what their child is experiencing. When upset, B1.5 is usually given space first and then offered a cuddle. Their goal is for their children to be happy, and they are completely comfortable with the house getting messy in the process. In fact, they would much rather B1.5 be dirty from a day full of fun than have a spotless house and a bored toddler.
While the main focus of the role is childcare, some light housekeeping would be appreciated if possible—but it is absolutely not a priority.
B1.5 loves music, enjoys being in the garden with water, and is especially drawn to plants and flowers. He also loves his morning walk and is used to having one every day, so the family would love to see this routine continue.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide nurturing, attentive care for B1.5, including feeding, play, and nap routines
- Organise and complete kindy pick-ups for G2.5
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, both at home and out in the community
- Foster a safe, positive, and fun environment
- Assist with light meal preparation
- Maintain a tidy and organised play and eating area throughout the day
- Communicate openly with parents about the children’s routines, milestones, and well-being
