To become a Dream Nanny first you need to register on our website. Our Placement Team will then arrange an interview and collect all required information. Once your registration is complete you can apply for roles on the Dream Nanny Job Board.
Dream Nannies need?
- Experience. You must have a minimum of 3 months childcare experience, either in a professional childcare setting or through babysitting or volunteer work. Please note that your experience will determine what type of Nanny you are. We offer Bronze Nannies to Platinum Nannies.
- Genuine Passion and Commitment. A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development are essential qualities for a Dream Nanny.
- Compatibility with Dream's Values. Professional, committed and have open communication skills.

Yes. Dream Nanny is licenced by the Ministry of Education and all eligible Nannies and Families are enrolled onto the Dream Education Programme.
All Dream Nannies must have a current Child First Aid Certificate. If yours has expired or you don't have one we will help you book into the correct course. Once you are matched with a Dream Family we will reimburse the costs of your Child First Aid.
Checks
- All Dream Nannies must have a clean Police Check. Once we have your permission we will process this on your behalf.
- We will also contact at least two of your recent referees.

Job Board
All our currently active jobs are available to view on our Job Board.
The Dream Nanny Job Board allows Nannies to browse upcoming opportunities and conveniently apply online. Each listing includes key details such as the region and suburb of the job, job type (full-time or part-time), offered rates, and scheduled work days.
Yes. We can support all our Dream Nannies with Employments Agreements.
Yes. Almost all Dream Nanny families use the Dream Payroll service.
Yes. If you are caring for preschoolers you will be matched with a visiting teacher who will come and see you and the children every month in the families home. You will also be invited to weekly playgroups. Our Placement Team will continue to support you post placement and our finance team will help with any payroll queries.
At Dream, we not only prioritize outings for the children but also value our caregivers. We regularly organize exciting monthly events for our Au Pairs, Nannies, and Educators to enjoy together.
