A warm and vibrant family is seeking a long-term, full-time Nanny to support their busy household. The ideal candidate will be reliable, engaging, and confident in managing a dynamic home environment. While the family is flexible with scheduling, they require care Monday through Friday for approximately 30–35 hours per week. Light household duties will also be part of the role.
The primary responsibility will be caring for their 4-year-old daughter, a sweet and affectionate child who is shy at first but forms bonds quickly. She enjoys cuddles, gymnastics, and is beginning to learn ice hockey. The family also includes a fiercely intelligent and sporty 6-year-old girl who loves the outdoors, gymnastics, and ice hockey, and thrives under clear, strong leadership.
The household is occasionally joined by 13-year-old twins who stay three days a week. Both are largely independent and require minimal care. The boy is introverted and passionate about ice hockey, while the girl is a quiet, high-achieving student who enjoys reading, performing arts, and volunteers at Kiwi Valley.
The family has a love for animals, sharing their home with two senior dogs—one indoor family dog and one outdoor working dog—as well as chickens, sheep, and a few cows. Their lifestyle is active and full, but they value humor, warmth, and keeping things light-hearted. They are looking for a Nanny who can become part of the family and grow with them over the long term.
Key responsibilities include:
While the kids are at school and or Kindy, ie 11am to 2.30pm they would like the Nanny to help with household management. Ie, loading unloading dishes, running the washing, tidying the house, meal prep etc. This would be a massive help to keeping their family functioning.

The twins are in a good routine with 3 hourly feeds although late afternoons things need to be a little more flexible.

The parents live separately, just a four-minute drive apart. The Nanny will alternate between their homes each week.
B10 is in primary school, he loves to read and learn. He plays soccer (training once per week), Judo 2x per week and swimming once per week.
Twin "A" started school in July, he also plays soccer, will commence Judo in Term 3 and does swimming once a week also. He has a bubbly personality and loves learning and chatting!
Twin "B" is currently attending preschool three times a week for three hours each day. He will not be attending the same school as the other two boys. He has special needs (Epilepsy, which is controlled through medication and has led to a global developmental delay). He is non-verbal, so he communicates through actions and sounds, and is learning to use a communication device. He attends OT and SLT sessions on Mondays and will need to be taken to these appointments throughout the day. The ideal nanny will have experience with boys with special needs. He is on the waitlist for a special school and is expected to start in August 2024.
Your role will involve school pick ups, planning educational activities, preparing and supervising meals, keeping areas the children use clean and tidy, their laundry (including bedding). The Family would also appreciate support with the Family meals and laundry and general errands when/if time allows.
