This role is VERY flexible!

We mainly need about 4 hours a day, twice a week, but it would be lovely to have the flexibility to make this more or less some weeks (averaging out so that you can rely on expecting a certain amount of income per month).

These days are most likely to be a Wed, Thurs, or Friday, but again we can shift to work with your schedule as well.

We are also happy to shift hours so that you have a break or so that they are longer or shorter if that works for you better.

There are also a few Saturdays where it would be great to get your help for most of the day as a series of separate, one-off arrangements.

It would be great if you could read to our daughter. She loves nursery rhymes and turning pages (though you have to stop her from breaking the book!). We live near the Orewa village so taking her for walks to the library, park, etc all lovely activities as well.

We don't mind if you would prefer not to prepare meals for her and can prepare meals ourselves for you to feed her if needed. But also we would love if you are interested in making food for her 🙂

He is non-verbal, so he communicates through actions and sounds, and is learning to use a communication device. He attends OT and SLT sessions on Mondays and will need to be taken to these appointments throughout the day. The ideal nanny will have experience with boys with special needs.
