Unfortunately, most of our Nannies prefer to work full time so we are unable to place Nannies into before and after school roles.

We can support families with a Au Pair.  Our Au Pairs live with you and can work 20 to 45 hours every week. Check out our Au Pairs HERE.

Finding a Nanny can take between two and six weeks depending on your requirements. Location, hours or working conditions. Your Placement Consultant will be able to advise you further with this.

Nannies usually contact us because they have seen a position we have advertised that would be of interest, or because we were recommended to them.

We interview all our Nannies and run full background and reference checks.

We assess all Nannies as to whether they are Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Nannies depending on their experience, qualifications, references, professionalism, committment and loyalty.

Finding a Nanny online or through social media can be tempting but it is time consuming and it can also be dangerous. Choosing Dream Nanny means you benefit from the expertise of our experienced recruiters and the assurance that all Dream Nannies are professionally vetted.

We provide assistance with contracts and payroll, monthly support from a qualified ECE teacher as well as access to funded hours. Most importantly, we handpick our Nannies to ensure lasting and happy placements are made for each Family and Nanny.

Permanent Nannies 

$25 to $35+ per hour

A one-off $595 + GST Placement Fee if you are on our Dream Education Programme.

15% of Nanny’s annual gross salary (minimum placement fee of $1495 + GST) if you are on the Buddy Programme.

International Placements 20% of the Nanny's annual gross salary.

Returning Customers receive a 10% discount on their Placement Fee.

Temporary Nannies

Normal Rates:   $95 + GST (one off booking fee) | then $45 + GST per hour.

Stat day Rates:  $95 + GST (one off booking fee) | then $67.50 + GST per hour.

 It is important to note that all Temp bookings need to be a minimum of 5 hours per day.

This Placement Fee covers a complete end to end recruitment process.

This includes fully understanding your specidfic requirements, advertising the role, pre-selecting a range of candidates (each of whom have been thoroughly background checked through our Placement Service), arranging interviews, writing up an employment agreement, organising forms for any relevant funding and subsidies, and checking up regularly with your Family.

In the case that things don't work out between your Nanny and your Family, we also have a 90-day free replacement guarantee.

Problems are very rare

If you and your Nanny both have a clear understanding of what the position entails and maintain good communication throughout the placement, problems are very rare. We will  carry out regular checks throughout the length of the placement to ensure you are satisfied.

If, despite all of our efforts, you are not satisfied with your Dream Nanny within the first three months of employment, you will be entitled to a free replacement (subject to Terms and Conditions).

This may vary, however typically we will send four to five profiles of Nannies that have the relevant experience, skill set and attitude you are looking for.

Pre-selecting candidates can be lengthy and, if you don't know the candidate, this can be difficult. This is why we will carry out the pre-selection on your behalf.

Yes! We can make paying your nanny easy and take the pain away from figuring out holiday pay, tax, ACC and KiwiSaver.

Our Payroll Fees are: $95 + GST for setup and $30 including GST per fortnight if you have placed your Nanny through Dream Nanny.

Private Payroll Support is a $595 + GST setup fee plus $30 including GST per fortnight.

We can help you access the funding you are eligible for.

For WINZ  subsidies we charge our NON Dream Education Families a weekly processing fee of $20 per child (incl gst)

There is no charge for Dream Education Programme Families.
