Why Choose a Dream Au Pair?
Imagine having a reliable live-in Au Pair, easing the childcare and household responsibilities while you work. Busy families opt for this affordable and flexible option, with Dream Au Pairs starting at $374 per week.
Being matched with the right Au Pair not only ensures parents have a dependable and trusted household member but also provides affordable and flexible childcare options. Additionally, children can seamlessly continue their routines, growing up in their home environment and local community.
Kiwi Living
Embarking on an adventure, a young individual aspires to immerse themselves in New Zealand's vibrant culture by integrating into a Kiwi family as an Au Pair. By dedicating themselves to childcare, they become an essential part of the family's daily life, contributing significantly to the children's nurturing and development. In return for accommodation, meals, and a small weekly wage, your Au Pair commits to 20-45 hours of childcare each week. This includes driving your children to school, assisting with homework, and preparing their meals, among other tasks.
Cherishing the unique relationship an Au Pair will build with your children, finding comfort and security in the care provided by someone they respect and trust within their own home. Additionally, the advantage of having a live-in Au Pair includes enjoying a 'babysitting night'every week, affording you invaluable personal time.
Infusing your household with their vibrant, youthful spirit, Au Pairs will take part in activities such as park visits, trampoline sessions, and joyful soccer matches. Beyond the joy of play, each Au Pair contributes their unique talents and interests to your family's dynamic. Picture your children exploring the world of art under the guidance of an incredibly skilled painter or being serenaded by gentle violin tunes as they complete their homework. Welcoming an Au Pair into your home means embracing an individual who will not only care for your children but also enrich their lives with love, creativity, and a dash of global culture, fostering their growth in the most enriching ways possible.
Cultural Immersion
But the exchange goes deeper than skills and hobbies; it's a cultural immersion. Children will have the unique opportunity to learn about a new culture directly from someone who lives it. Celebrating traditional festivals, learning a new language, tasting authentic dishes, and understanding global perspectives firsthand. You doesn't just gain a caregiver, but a loving, inspirational figure who weaves new cultural threads into the fabric of your children's lives. This enriches their growth in beautiful, unexpected ways, expanding their world view and fostering an appreciation for diversity that will enrich their character for years to come.
A helping hand:
An Au Pair's responsibilities are thoughtfully designed around your children, offering both care and supervision. Acting as an extension of you, providing care and supervision either as a parent helper or for children older than 6 months, confidently taking sole charge when you're working. Their role is a dynamic blend of caregiver, playmate, and educator, actively contributing to your children's growth and development.
Your Au Pair will ensure your children are engaged and entertained, enriching their lives with activities that promote learning. They will accompany your little ones to their various classes and activities, provide transportation to and from school and kindergarten, and prepare snacks and meals. With a keen eye for safety and routine, they will also oversee bath time, assist with dressing and changing, and lend a helping hand with homework.
Beyond direct care, your Au Pair will manage household chores related to the children, ensuring their living spaces—bedrooms, play areas, and the bathroom—are tidy and organized. From laundry to kitchen duties, their efforts will focus on tasks that support your children's well-being and smooth daily functioning.
Enriching your children's daily routine with a blend of care, education, and fun, your Au Pair seamlessly integrates into your family's life, providing comprehensive support as needed.

Most Common
Children learn best when they are enjoying themselves in a comfortable and familiar environment. One of the fundamental advantages of having an Au Pair is that your child is not constrained by the routines of a day care. In a centre environment your child must fit in with the routines of the centre, whereas an Au Pair will tailor every day around the individual needs of your child.
